ABOUT ARTISTS MEMBERSHIP:

    Our goal is to partner with our members to build a powerful springboard & home base for independent artist to build and manage successful careers.  Our further goal is to eat corporate media’s lunch & wash it down with their tears, by providing a dynamic, robust, effective & supportive alternative for artists, that’s a “no-brainer choice” to come work with us instead.  

   The INDEPENDENT ARTS & MEDIA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION is a non-profit, member-supported & organized public platform.  That means, instead of absurdly extravagant corporate CEO salaries & shareholder profits, your membership dues go towards

  • providing, maintaining, and further developing & expanding of features, tools, resources, and services aimed at supporting, empowering & uplifting our members.
  • maintaining and expanding outreach & engagement, to promote, and bring new opportunities to participating members and communities.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS!

The POSTIN’ POST:

    “The Postin’ Post” is a community board & daily feed, where members can share content (videos, audio, images, articles, etc.).  Each individual department page has it’s own community board/daily feed.  So, for example, the “Local Music” page has it’s own music related community board, and so on. 

    Every time you contribute to a “Postin’ Post” contributor board, it is recorded to your profile’s “MEMBER RESUME‘” (optional) history, along with member response, ratings, nominations, etc.  With each incremental, consecutive milestone, set for all aforementioned (number of contributor posts, member “likes”, etc.) that is reached, contributors receive additional special perks, promotional support, credits, and other opportunities.

    Sharing your content to these feeds is a good way to promote your work, and to be nominated for inclusion in the following week‘s local installment of “WEEKLY EDITION”.  Each episode’s featured content is, in part comprised of “I.A.M.C.A. STAFF PICKS” and “MEMBERS-CHOICE PICKS”, selected from “POSTIN’ POST” contributor boards.

    All “WEEKLY EDITION” contributors are included in our weekly, multi-faceted promotional engagement, member newsletters, listings, etc., as well as front page promotional & “special thank you” billboards & sliders (that’s a full week of front page promo, free!) and featured “I.A.M.C.A. STORE” billboards. *(more on “WEEKLY EDITION” below.)

    Your ARTIST MEMBERSHIP comes with a free daily alottment of  1.) four content share credits, and 2.)  two additional discounted credits, for use on “DAILY SPONSORS BILLBOARDS” and other promo spots. 

    *A daily post limit, on contributor board feeds, is intended to ensure a more “level playfield” for all contributors, to have their content seen.  Limited to once a week,  a total of one day‘s alotted credits (4 free posts, 2 discounted promo spots) can be used on a different day, that week, in addition to that day’s credits & discounts.  The usual comments, replies, sharing, etc. capabilities are unlimited.  All subject to member-approved, community guidelines, standards & practices.

 

“WEEKLY EDITION”:

    “I.A.M.C.A.’s WEEKLY EDITION” is your chapter’s weekly journal for all things local, from local arts & culture, news, upcoming community events & activities, and much more.  Each edition’s featured content is derived from the following sources:

  • “I.A.M.C.A. Presents…” produced special features and other content.  The “IAMCA Presents…” production team is your local chapter’s, member-supported, in-house programs/events/activities production team.  Members and local contributors are encouraged to submit their works and ideas for collaboration, or join our team as a volunteer.  A great way for aspiring new artists to learn the ropes of content creation / production!
  • The annual “PLEDGE-A-THON & TALENT PAGEANT” and other special “I.A.M.C.A. Presents…” programs, features, profiles, events, activities.
 
Contributors that are selected for inclusion in the “WEEKLY EDITION” are included in I.A.M.C.A.’s dynamic & effective, multi-faceted promotional engagement/outreach efforts, member newsletters, listings, etc., as well as front page promotional & “special thank you” billboards & sliders (that’s a full week of front page promo, free!).  
 
Participating contributors receive additional special perks, promotional support, credits, your content & profile included in “The Archives”, and other opportunities.
 
Eligibility for consideration & inclusion in “I.A.M.C.A. NATIONWIDE All-Chapters Programming”, special events & activities, is based on your local chapter’s members-choice picks.  
 
Other “I.A.M.C.A. CENTRAL” sponsored all-chapters programs, events & activities, such as “I.A.M.C.A. NATIONWIDE”,  the annual “PLEDGE-A-THON & TALENT PAGEANT” and  “The CHAPTER-O-LYMPICS”, where each local chapter, across the country, competes for a national “MEMBERS-CHOICE BEST”, the winners are decided by the popular national vote count.
 
Participating contributors to “I.A.M.C.A. NATIONWIDE” and other “I.A.M.C.A. CENTRAL” special features, programs, events, activties & other efforts, similarly recieve all the above mentioned benefits and promotional exposure & support of contributors to your chapter’s “WEEKLY EDITION”,  only all on a nationwide scale!!  A great way to promote an upcoming project, release, upcoming tour, and more!!
